Medicine requires continuous development, which is why our department constantly works on expanding the arsenal of minimally invasive treatment methods. In April 2026, a team of four surgeons from our department successfully completed an intensive advanced training course in Naples (Italy).
The training was dedicated to the technology of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of thyroid nodules. This is a modern method that, under certain indications, allows for effective treatment of nodular formations without a traditional surgical incision.
This visit served as a crucial preparatory step: in the near future, we will announce the implementation of RFA technology into the clinical practice of our Institute. We are doing everything possible to make advanced global technologies accessible to our patients in Ukraine.
